2021 FOAL Purchase Agreement

The price listed at the time of signing this agreement is the agreed upon price. Prices are listed in Canadian dollar. (price shown in US on our website, is an estimate for our US buyers) (Deposit refunded or transferred to another foal, if this reserved foal is not born alive and healthy)
If reserving a foal Inutero, a $500.00 deposit is required. The remaining
balance may be
split into three payments, with the first payment due within 3 days of the
foal
being born.
If selecting a foal after it is born: Payment is due immediately
upon
selection. (minimum of 1/3 of purchase price)
If payment plan is selected, 2nd payment due June
30th, 3rd payment due July 30th.

It is hereby agreed, between the parties, ______________________________, (buyer) and Twin Valley Ranch (Michael & Lois Drielick), seller that the buyer agrees to purchase the following foal:

GST), US Buyers please add
$150 for the Export health papers and coggins test, for
a TOTAL of

(US buyers please note: this
does not include the border crossing fee) *The border crossing fee is paid
to
the hauler, please make sure you ask your hauler if this fee is in
addition to
their hauling fee.
*US buyers please pay via Paypal, and request to send
Canadian funds, Paypal will convert the exchange rate. Please also
select to
pay the Paypal fee, otherwise, I will deduct the Paypal fee from the
payment received
with the difference to be added to the next payment.
Any additional fees will be added to the total as requested by the buyer -
halter
breaking, vaccinations, board. You may request additional
handling
for $75.00 if time allows for this to be done. (depending on foal pick up
schedule).
Foals will leave only if they are 100% sound and healthy, any injuries or
illness that may arise throughout the summer will be discussed with the
buyer
and alternatives will be jointly agreed upon. Either selecting
another
foal, or full refund of money.
Any refunds given will be in Canadian currency. We are not
responsible for exchange rate differences or money transfer fees that may
have been incurred by the purchaser.
Foals that are waiting pickup/delivery will incur board costs at $5.00 per day, starting October 1st. Or in the case of a later born foal, 1 week after the foal is weaned. Board costs are to be paid in full before they are scheduled to leave. Failure to pay will result in termination of contract/sale of foal, and loss of any money paid. Please allow sufficient time for payment to get here. If a foal suffers an injury or death after September 15th, the buyer will incur all vet expenses and/or loss. Any expenses or problems that arise during transport will be referred to the buyer. Purchase of foal insurance is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
If a payment plan (other then the above payment schedule) has been discussed, please list the payment plan below. Buyer must stick to the attached plan, or the foal will be listed again as available. All money already paid will not be refunded.
Canceling this contract for any reason will result in the loss of all monies paid.
