2016 Purchase Agreement

(this does not include the
border crossing fee) *The border crossing fee is paid to the hauler, please make
sure you ask your hauler if this fee is in addition to their hauling
fee.
US buyers, the exchange rate will be adjusted accordingly at the time of each payment.
1/2 the purchase price is due when the foal is born. The
remaining half is due by July 31st. (Unless a payment plan has been
arranged).
Any additional fees will be due upon request by the purchaser (training, vaccinations,
board etc ).
A Foal will leave only if it is 100% sound and healthy, any injuries or illness that may arise after purchase will be discussed with the buyer and alternatives will be jointly agreed upon. Either selecting another foal, or refund of money.
A horse that becomes injured or sick 15 days or more after the purchase date (and is waiting for transportation or while being boarded here), is the responsibility of the buyer. We will assist anyway we can, but expenses/loss becomes the responsibility of the buyer.
Foals that are waiting pickup/delivery will incur board costs at $5.00 per day, starting September 15th, or 1 week after purchase agreement is signed. (whichever is later) Or in the case of a later born foal, 1 week after the foal is weaned. Older Horses will incur board 15 days following the purchase date. $10.00 per day. Board costs are to be paid in full before they are scheduled to leave. Failure to pay will result in termination of contract/sale of foal/horse, and loss of any money paid. Please allow sufficient time for payment to get here.
Once the foal/horse leaves Twin Valley Ranch, he/she becomes the
responsibility of the buyer. Any expenses or problems that arise during
transport will be referred to the buyer.
Purchase of foal/horse insurance is the sole responsibility
of the buyer.
If a payment plan has been discussed, please attach plan. Buyer must stick to the attached plan, or the foal/horse will be listed again as available, money already paid will not be refunded.

If I have discussed a payment plan with Twin Valley Ranch, I understand that if I fail to follow this plan, the foal will be re-listed as available, and any money received will not be refunded.
